    You might not think of cottage cheese as the base of a dip, but think again. This creamy bacon-infused dip is a new party staple.

    12 oz.Hy-Vee small curd cottage cheese
    12cherry tomatoes, roughly chopped
    3 slice(s)bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1-2 tbsp roughly chopped basil
    Salt, to taste
    Additional cooked and crumbled bacon and chopped basil, for garnish

    Directions

    1. In a blender, pulse cottage cheese until smooth.
    2. Transfer cottage cheese to a bowl and stir in tomatoes, bacon, basil and salt, to taste.
    3. Chill dip at least 1 hour before serving.
    4. Garnish dip with additional cooked and crumbled bacon and chopped basil, if desired.
