Bacon Bruschetta Dip
You might not think of cottage cheese as the base of a dip, but think again. This creamy bacon-infused dip is a new party staple.
Servings and Ingredients
|12 oz.||Hy-Vee small curd cottage cheese|
|12||cherry tomatoes, roughly chopped|
|3 slice(s)||bacon, cooked and crumbled|
|1-2 tbsp roughly chopped basil|
|Salt, to taste|
|Additional cooked and crumbled bacon and chopped basil, for garnish|
- In a blender, pulse cottage cheese until smooth.
- Transfer cottage cheese to a bowl and stir in tomatoes, bacon, basil and salt, to taste.
- Chill dip at least 1 hour before serving.
- Garnish dip with additional cooked and crumbled bacon and chopped basil, if desired.
