Calling all Junior Green Thumbs! Join Deana, East Madison Hy-Vee dietitian and get your hands dirty in this hands-on gardening and cooking class. We will learn how to plant, weed, water, harvest and take care of a garden. After spending time in the garden, we will head to the kitchen and cook with our seasonal bounty! Cost of the class is $8 and advanced registration and payment is required. Please call 608-244-4696 to sign up. Class size is limited. ***Please apply sunscreen and/or bug repellent to your child prior to arriving for class. Bringing a water bottle is also recommended as it can get warm in the garden. ***In the event of inclement weather i.e. thunderstorms, class will be canceled. Please call prior to coming in the event of bad weather***
