Hemoglobin A1C is a blood test that individuals living with diabetes use to manage their blood glucose levels. Hemoglobin A1C helps provide information about that individual’s average levels of blood glucose over a 2-3 month period. The screening will only last a few minutes! You DO NOT have to fast for this screening. These FREE screenings will be held inside the Hy-Vee Healthy You Mobile outside of the Hy-Vee Drugstore on Wednesday, April 24, from 8 a.m. to noon. These screenings will be on a first come, first served basis!
