The Gluten Intolerance Group of Eastern Iowa meets the second Monday of each month, usually in the Edgewood Road Hy-Vee Club Room. Their purpose is to educate the community about celiac sprue and autoimmune diseases associated with it. The meetings are family-oriented and open to the public with guest speakers, demonstrations and samples of new gluten-free products.
