Simple Fix Freezer Class - Heart Healthy Fall Recipes

Date: 11/13/2019
Time:  5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Type: Cooking Class
Location: Empire Hy-Vee (4101 S Louise Ave)

Do you find yourself too busy during the week to cook healthy meals for you and your family? If you answered YES, then Simple Fix freezer meals may be the solution for you!

Let your Empire Hy-Vee dietitian, Melissa, save you time during the week by taking away some of the work load and planning time with preparing healthy meals for your family. The recipes and ingredients will be all lined up for you. All you do is come and measure and assemble the ingredients together in freezer bags or disposable baking tins and take them home to put in your freezer to use at your convenience. We help take away the stress and the mess to make healthy eating easier!

Simply stop by between 5 and 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, to assemble your meals. Everything will be set-up in the Market Grille area. You will take home 3 different recipes - either a 4-6 servings portion or a 2-3 servings portion.

Menu Items:
1. Chicken and Spinach Lasagna
2. Black Bean and Pumpkin Chili
3. Turkey and Veggies Mini Meatloaves

Registration and payment is required prior to attending.
