Hy-Vee would like to welcome Kristen Malek-Madani from Republic National Distributing and Robin Casper from Chateau Ste Michelle wines to our March Wine Dinner. Along with the creations of our amazing Chef Bob Allen, enjoy a nice relaxed evening of fine dining and wine pairings. For the wine lovers, there are 3 wines with 90+ point values. This is a night you won’t want to miss!
First course: Smoked Gouda Bisque Soup paired with Haras 2011 Sauvignon Blanc wine.
Second course: Salmon with Curried Fennel-Wine Sauce and Pumpkin Risotto paired with Antica 2012Chardonnay (93 points).
Third course: Plum-Braised Pork Shoulder with Sweet Potato and Cheddar Waffle topped with Blood Orange Butter Sauce paired with Erath 2011 Pinot Noir (90 points).
Fourth course: Candied Applewood Smoked Bacon Dark Chocolate Cake paired with Antica 2010 Cabernet (92 points).
Time: Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m.
Cost: $35 if registered by Saturday, March 8th/$40 if registered after Saturday, March 8th
