Join us this summer as we move into the One Step garden for our Kids in the Kitchen classes! Each month kids will be able to taste new fruits and vegetables that are growing in our One Step garden. Each child will make 2 to 3 recipes using the Vegetable of the Day. Every year our garden yield depends on the weather – we will announce the recipes for this class two weeks prior depending on what is available in the garden. The Kids in the Kitchen cooking classes are for kids ages 4 to 11. Classes are led by Nina, Milan Hy-Vee's store dietitian. Pay at Customer Service the day of the event. Registration is required in advance. Space is limited! If the weather permits we will hold our classes outside under our garden pavilion. In case of rain, we will hold class in the conference room.
