Nutrition Walk/Tour: Plant-Based Eating

Plant-based eating is a diet trend with increasing popularity. It is important to make sure you are incorporating foods that will provide you with key nutrients such as iron, calcium, B12 & zinc. Due to other nutrients competing for absorption it is important to time your nutrients out accordingly in the day to prevent chronic illnesses. Learn more in the aisles with Dietitian Alyssa!  She will provide a variety of meal/snack ideas and plant based substitutions for recipes that call for animal products.
