Come join Charles City Hy-Vee Dietitian Julie Mayhew and ISU Extension and Outreach Floyd County Youth Coordinator, Michelle Schubert, for a gardening class. We will harvest produce, weed and water the garden at the Hy-Vee Gas Station (1003 Kelly Street, Charles City) with the produce being donated to the Extension’s Growing Together Iowa Grant produce give-away. Class will begin and end at the gas station garden, kids of all ages are welcome and parents can drop their kids off or stay. Wear clothes you can get dirty and bring gardening gloves if you have them. Registration not required, email [email protected] with any questions.
