Join your Belton Hy-Vee Dietitian for a Back-to-School Event!
Looking to start the school year off in a healthy way? Let your Belton Hy-Vee Dietitian, Jamie, help you!
Bring the kids by Belton Hy-Vee to enjoy a "Build-your-own Lunchbox" activity to help them learn about healthy lunchbox choices! Kids will pick 1 item from each food group to make a complete, nutritious lunch! All foods provided for the lunchbox event will last at least 1 week if stored correctly, so let your kid(s) do the work for you and make a different lunch for each day of the week! Children who are involved in planning and preparing meals are more likely to try new foods!
Each lunchbox will be $4.99!
*Help us spread the enthusiasm by posting a photo of your child on the first day of school on the Belton Hy-Vee Facebook page. Have them pose with their favorite healthy lunch or snack and use #hyveehealthyschoolyear
