Your Hy-Vee dietitian has partnered with other community experts in this two-part class for parents-to-be. This monthly class is free to the public so every new mom and baby can get the best possible start. This date is for Part 1 only; find more information for both parts and other dates at the registration link below.
Part 1 includes education on the basics of:
- Preventing childhood lead poisoning
- Maternal nutrition (Dietitian Chrissy's section!)
- Spinning babies (Getting baby in proper birth position for vaginal delivery)
- Physical movement
Part 2 includes education on the basics of:
- Purple crying/Family Connects
- Car seat safety
- Sleep safety
- Postpartum anxiety/depression
- Physical movement
- CPR - Infant only
