Ansborough Hy-Vee is unique in that it has a full teaching kitchen in its club room! In this camp, school-age kids will learn kitchen safety, knife safety, and proper portion sizes from Dietitian Beth Barber, RD LD. Kids will make meatloaf cupcakes with piped mashed potato "frosting", taco cups, and banana dogs. In addition, kids will participate in KidsFit activities, a craft and a healthy meal builders game, then spin the wheel to earn prizes!
