Your Midtown Hy-Vee dietitian will be offering FREE A1C screenings on Friday, April 12, from 7:30 a.m. to noon. Hemoglobin A1C is a blood test that individuals living with diabetes use to manage their blood sugar levels. Hemoglobin A1C helps provide information about that individual’s average level of blood glucose over a 2 – 3 month period. No pre-registration necessary. First come, first served. Screenings available until supplies last.
