Hemoglobin A1C is a quick and easy finger prick blood test used to measure your average blood sugar values for approximately a three month period. It is especially helpful for individuals living with diabetes to see how well they have managed their blood glucose levels over a period of time. Even if you do not have diabetes, hemoglobin A1C tests can be useful for anyone wanting to see how well their body manages their blood sugar!
Screenings will be provided on a first-come-first-served basis either on the Hy-Vee Healthy You Mobile, or in-store in the dietitians office (be sure to come inside from 8-noon if no Hy-Vee Healthy You Mobile is parked outside of the store).
