Cook side-by-side with people who are committed to your health! Dr. Melissa Stiles, UW Health Belleville, Dr. Brian Arndt, UW Health Verona, and Kara Hoerr, Hy-Vee dietitian, will lead a series of cooking adventures each month. December’s cooking group will learn a new recipe for the slow cooker as well as super soups using delicious and nutritious super foods. All supplies are provided. Eat the food you prepare at the class or take it home to enjoy later! There is limited seating, so RSVP by Monday, December 7, to the Verona Senior Center, 845-7471. Any senior 55+ interested in better nutrition is welcome to sign up.
Future class dates are: January 8, and February 5.
Cost: $5 per person, payable the day of the class.
