In honor of National Diabetes Awareness Month, Hy-Vee will be providing free Hemoglobin A1C screenings.
The hemoglobin A1C test helps provide information about an individual's average blood glucose level over a 2-3 month period.
The screenings will take place on the Hy-Vee Healthy You Mobile in front of the store. Customers will be served on a first come, first served basis.
Kathy, your Hy-Vee dietitian will conduct a simple blood test, and review the results with you immediately following the test. You do not need to fast for this test.
Customers will also receive a giveaway bag with samples, coupons and educational materials.
