Learn more about the Teal Pumpkin Project and how to raise awareness of food allergies during this Halloween Season. A teal pumpkin on your porch lets kids with food allergies know they can still find something fun at your house.
Kids & Adults will get the change to paint a teal pumpkin to place on your home to indicate you have non-food treats available to passersby. This event is FREE.
We will also have lots of samples of some of our allergy friendly items from our HealthMarket. You will also receive a 10% off coupon for the HealthMarket.
Nonfood Treats: While you’re at our event stock up on non-candy treats! For examples: bubbles, glow sticks, stickers, temporary tattoos, pencils, erasers, spider rings, vampire teeth, bead necklaces, bookmarks.
Pumpkin Map: Homes participating in the Teal Pumpkin Project can add their trick-or-treat location to an online map to help parents in the community plan their Halloween route ahead of time. Click here: https://www.foodallergy.org/education-awareness/teal-pumpkin-project/map
