What are digital coupons?
Digital coupons are electronic coupons for manufacturers’ products that are found online. They are the same as paper coupons, only without the paper. Shoppers select the coupons they’re interested in, save them to a loyalty card and redeem them at checkout.
What is required to participate in Hy-Vee’s digital coupons program?
Customers need an activated Fuel Saver card (one that is linked to a valid email address) and a My Hy-Vee account. Customers who don’t have a Fuel Saver card can pick up an application at the store or register for a card online. They can register for a My Hy-Vee account, if they don’t already have one, at www.Hy-Vee.com.
How does Hy-Vee’s digital coupons program work?
Shoppers go to their My Hy-Vee account at www.Hy-Vee.com and navigate to the digital coupon page located under the Shop menu. They click on the digital offers they like and the coupons are saved to their Fuel Saver card. Digital coupons are available for use the moment they are selected.
How does a shopper redeem digital coupons?
Digital coupons saved to a Fuel Saver card are automatically applied to the order when the cashier scans the card and hits the ‘total’ key at checkout. The products purchased must match the digital coupon requirements.
What if customers don’t have their Fuel Saver cards with them when they come to the store?
You can key in the phone number linked to the customer’s Fuel Saver card. Credit will be applied as it normally would to any product purchased that matches the clipped coupon offers in the customer’s account.
Do shoppers need to print digital coupons?
No. Digital coupons are paperless and are redeemed automatically when a customer’s Fuel Saver card is scanned. Shoppers can, if they wish, print a list of their saved offers for personal reference by clicking on the “My Clipped Coupons” tab.
