If you like your drinks a little on the sweet side, this sangria's for you. You can also swap out the sugar for equal parts honey.
Servings and Ingredients
|6 c.||Luccio Moscato d'Asti wine|
|¼ c.||Hy-Vee sugar|
|1 c.||Hy-Vee white grape juice|
|1||ripe nectarine, pitted and cut into thin wedges|
|1||tangerine, thinly sliced|
|1 c.||seedless white grapes, halved|
|1 c.||Hy-Vee club soda|
|Ice cubes, optional|
- In a large pitcher, combine wine and sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add grape juice, nectarine, tangerine and grapes; mix well.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour (and up to 4 hours). The sangria will sweeten with time, so the longer it sits, the better.
- Just before serving, stir in the club soda and ice cubes, if desired.
