    This irresistible caramel sauce is finished with a tablespoon of Finagren's Irish whiskey. Use it to top any dessert; and we especially recommend using it over our Whiskey Sour Cake.

    ¼ c.Hy-Vee heavy whipping cream
    1 tbsp.Finagren's Irish whiskey

    Directions

    1. Place sugar and water into a medium skillet over medium heat. Cook, swirling pan occasionally until a deep amber color is reached, about 5 to 8 minutes, being careful not to burn. Remove from heat.

    2. Slowly whisk in butter, heavy whipping cream, Irish whiskey, and a pinch of salt. Cool completely before serving or store in the refrigerator in a container with a tight fitting lid for up to 1 week.
