Place sugar and water into a medium skillet over medium heat. Cook, swirling pan occasionally until a deep amber color is reached, about 5 to 8 minutes, being careful not to burn. Remove from heat.
This irresistible caramel sauce is finished with a tablespoon of Finagren's Irish whiskey. Use it to top any dessert; and we especially recommend using it over our Whiskey Sour Cake.
