1 c. diced Gala apples
1 c. diced Granny Smith apples
⅓ c. minced red onion
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tbsp. Hy-Vee butter
½ c. Hy-Vee raisins
½ c. Hy-Vee pecan pieces
½ tsp. Hy-Vee ground cinnamon
1 tsp. Hy-Vee sugar
Hy-Vee cinnamon sugar pita chips, optional

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine apples, red onion and lemon juice; set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and sauté raisins and pecans. Stir until nuts are lightly toasted and fragrant. Add cinnamon and sugar and toss. Remove from heat and add to apple mixture, stirring just to combine. Serve with cinnamon sugar pita chips, if desired.
