    1 red apple
    2 tbsp. lemon juice
    8 almonds
    1 strawberry, sliced thinly

    Directions

    1. Cut the apple into 4 slices. With paring knife, carve out the top and bottom lip. Make sure not to carve too far into the apple. Cut small slits for the fangs on the upper part of the apple and in the crease for the tongue. Pour lemon juice over the cut portions of the apple to prevent browning.
    2. Place the almonds in the upper part of the apple for fangs and one slice of strawberry at the center for the tongue. If desired, use a dab of peanut butter to make the strawberry stick.
