1 c. fresh bread crumbs | ||
1 medium onion, chopped | ||
1 ¼ tsp. salt | ||
½ tsp. pepper | ||
2 (8 oz each) cans tomato sauce, divided | ||
2 tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar | ||
2 tbsp. vinegar | ||
2 tbsp. prepared mustard | ||
1 c. water |
Directions
- Combine egg, ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, salt, pepper and 1/2 can of tomato sauce.
- Shape mixture into loaf and place in large shallow baking dish.
- Combine brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, 1-1/2 cans tomato sauce and water. Mix together and pour over meat loaf.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours.
