    8 c. Hy-Vee 33%-less-sodium chicken broth, divided
    ½ c. onion, chopped
    1 (16-oz.) package Hy-Vee frozen yolk-free noodles
    1 (6.2-oz.) box 5-minute long grain and wild rice mix
    ⅓ c. Hy-Vee all-purpose flour
    ¼ tsp. poultry seasoning
    2 c. Hy-Vee skim milk
    2 c. turkey breast, cooked, shredded
    Hy-Vee salt, to taste
    Hy-Vee black pepper, to taste
    ½ c. green onions, thinly sliced

    Directions

    1. In a large stockpot, bring 7 cups chicken broth and onion to a boil. Add frozen noodles and return to boiling. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes. Add rice and seasoning packet included; cook for an additional 5 minutes.

    2. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine remaining 1 cup chicken broth, flour and poultry seasoning; stir until smooth. Slowly add flour and broth mixture, stirring constantly. Bring to boiling; cook 1 minute or until thickened and bubbly.

    3. Slowly add milk and heat until thickened slightly. Add cooked turkey and heat through. Season to taste with salt and pepper and top with green onions before serving.
