1 (16 oz.) jar marinara sauce
1 c. cherry tomatoes, halved
1 c. fresh basil leaves, loosely packed
Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, shredded, optional

Directions

  1. Cook gnocchi according to package directions; set aside.

  2. Meanwhile, heat marinara in a saucepan over medium heat until warmed. Thinly slice basil and stir half into marinara sauce.

  3. Stir in cherry tomatoes and cook for 2 more minutes. Remove from heat and add cooked gnocchi; stir until coated.

  4. Divide evenly between four plates and sprinkle with remaining basil and cheese, if desired.
