    10 c. popped popcorn
    2 c. Quaker brown sugar squares cereal
    1 c. Hy-Vee brown sugar
    ½ c. Hy-Vee margarine
    ¼ c. Hy-Vee honey
    ⅜ tsp. Hy-Vee baking soda
    ½ tsp. maple extract
    1 c. Hy-Vee whole cashews

    Directions

    1. Cover a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. Place popcorn and cereal on foil.
    2. In a large saucepan, stir together brown sugar, margarine and honey. Cook over medium heat until boiling, stirring constantly.
    3. Continue cooking at a gentle boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in baking soda and extract.
    4. Pour over popcorn mixture. Add cashews and gently stir until popcorn mixture and cashews are evenly coated.
    5. Bake at 300 degrees for 15 minutes. Stir and bake an additional 5 minutes.
    6. Turn out on waxed paper and allow to cool. Break into chunks.
