    1 ½ tsp. Hy-Vee baking soda
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee salt
    1 c. Hy-Vee salted butter, melted and cooled
    1 c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar
    ⅔ c. Hy-Vee dark brown sugar, packed
    ¼ c. Hy-Vee light corn syrup
    1 Hy-Vee large egg
    1 large egg yolk
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee 2% reduced-fat milk
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee vanilla extract
    1 (12-oz.) pkg. Hy-Vee semisweet chocolate chips

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside. 

    2. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and syrup on medium for 2 minutes, scraping sides of bowl occasionally. Beat in egg, egg yolk, milk, and vanilla until combined. Beat in flour mixture. Add chocolate chips. 

    3. Drop cookie scoops, about 1-1/2 tablespoon portions, of dough 3-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 11 minutes or until edges are light brown. Cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and cool completely.
