    4 bone-in pork chops
    Hy-Vee black pepper, to taste
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 celery, chopped
    1 large green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
    1 (14.5 oz) can Hy-Vee stewed tomatoes, undrained
    ½ c. Hy-Vee ketchup
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee brown sugar
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee cider vinegar
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee light Worcestershire sauce
    1 tbsp. Hy-Vee lemon juice
    1 Hy-Vee beef bouillon cube
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee cornstarch
    2 tbsp. water
    Hot, cooked Hy-Vee white rice, for serving

    Directions

    1. Place pork chops in a slow cooker and season with pepper. Add onions, celery and green peppers.
    2. Combine stewed tomatoes, ketchup, brown sugar, cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and bouillon juice in a medium bowl. Pour into slow cooker.
    3. Cover and cook on LOW heat for 5 to 6 hours. Remove pork chops.
    4. Mix together cornstarch and water and stir into slow cooker. Cover and cook on HIGH for 30 minutes thickened.
    5. Meanwhile, shred pork chops into bite-sized pieces. Discard bones. Stir into thickened mixture in slow cooker and serve over hot, cooked rice, if desired.
