2(14.5-oz. each) cans That's Smart! diced tomatoes
1(24-oz.) can That's Smart! traditional pasta sauce
1(14.5-oz.) can That's Smart! chicken broth
1 ½ c.water
1(14-oz.) pkg. Hy-Vee Italian-style meatballs
1(16-oz.) pkg. That's Smart! spaghetti, dry
Hy-Vee grated Parmesan cheese, for garnish
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

  • Large stockpot or Dutch oven with lid

Directions

  1. Add Italian seasoning, onion powder, diced tomatoes, pasta sauce, chicken broth, and water to a large stockpot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Stir in frozen meatballs, cover, and bring to a simmer.

  2. Once sauce begins to simmer, stir in dry spaghetti. Cover and simmer for 15 to 18 minutes, stirring occasionally until pasta reaches aldente and meatballs reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees. 

  3. Remove lid from stockpot and garnish with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley, if desired.
