    1 lbs.93%-lean ground turkey
    ½ c.Hy-Vee whole wheat bread crumbs
    ½ c.thinly sliced green onions
    1large carrot, shredded
    1Hy-Vee large egg, beaten
    2 tbsp.Hy-Vee honey
    2 tbsp.Hy-Vee soy sauce
    2 tbsp.dry white wine
    1garlic clove, minced
    1 tsp.fresh ginger root
    1 tsp.sesame oil

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
    2. In a large bowl, combine turkey, bread crumbs, green onions, carrot and egg. Form into 26 (1-inch) meatballs and place on a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15 minutes or until internal temperature of meatballs reaches 165 degrees.
    3. Meanwhile, for teriyaki sauce, in a small saucepan combine honey, soy sauce, white wine, garlic, ginger root and sesame oil. Simmer over medium heat until mixture thickens, about 5 to 8 minutes. Brush teriyaki sauce on cooked meatballs before serving.
