|½ c.||yellow onion, chopped|
|1||(1.25-oz) envelope Hy-Vee 30%-less-sodium taco seasoning|
|2||(16-oz each) tubes Hy-Vee jumbo flaky homestyle biscuits|
|8 tbsp.||Hy-Vee shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided|
|Hy-Vee shredded lettuce, optional|
|Hy-Vee salsa, optional|
|Hy-Vee sour cream, optional|

- Ungreased baking sheet
Press each biscuit into a 4-inch circle. Place 8 biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet.
Top each biscuit with 1/4 cup taco filling and 1 tablespoon cheese. Place remaining biscuits on top and press lightly to sandwich the filling inside.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden-brown. Serve with shredded lettuce, salsa and sour cream, if desired.
