    6 c. mashed sweet potatoes (from 6 to 8 lbs potatoes)
    10 tbsp. Hy-Vee margarine, divided, softened
    1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
    1 c. caramel sundae topping
    ½ c. Hy-Vee sour cream
    1 (8.5 oz) box apple crisp mix
    1 c. Hy-Vee chopped pecans, optional

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Mix sweet potatoes, 5 tablespoons margarine, spice and caramel topping with electric mixer. Fold in sour cream. Spread in a greased 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
    3. Prepare crisp mix according to package directions using remaining 5 tablespoons margarine. Sprinkle evenly over sweet potato mixture. Top with pecans if desired.
    4. Bake uncovered for 45 to 50 minutes.
