Servings and Ingredients
|4 medium sweet potatoes|
|1 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select olive oil|
|2 tbsp. Hy-Vee butter|
|¼ c. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar|
|2 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select 100% pure maple syrup|
|⅛ tsp. ground nutmeg|
Things To Grab
- *If using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes. Preheat grill for direct cooking to medium heat.
- Peel sweet potatoes; cut into 1-inch chunks. Thread 5 to 6 pieces of sweet potatoes onto each skewer. Brush with olive oil.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar until dissolved. Mix in syrup and nutmeg; cook until smooth; set aside.
Place potato skewers on oiled grill rack. Grill for 20 minutes or until tender, flipping every 5 minutes. Brush with brown-sugar glaze during the last 3 minutes of grilling.
