12 tsp. cooked mashed sweet potato, cooled, divided
12 tsp. fresh goat cheese, divided
Hy-Vee salt
Hy-Vee ground black pepper
12 Hy-Vee pecan halves
Fresh thyme, for garnish

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. line a baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside. Unroll crescent rolls; press seams together to form a sheet. Cut dough into 12 squares. Place 1 teaspoon cooked mashed sweet potato and 1 teaspoon fresh goat cheese in the center of each square. Lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bring corners up and over filling toward center; pinch corners together to seal. Top each with a pecan half. Place on prepared baking sheet. Bake 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Garnish with fresh thyme, if desired.
