    An aioli is a French mayonnaise spread often used on meat, fish or vegetables. This one is kicked up with a chile pepper.

    1 ripe avocado, halved, seeded and peeled
    ¼ c. Hy-Vee mayonnaise
    1 tbsp. fresh lime juice
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 serrano chile pepper, halved, seeded and chopped*
    2 tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
    ¼ tsp. kosher salt
    ⅛ tsp. Hy-Vee black pepper
    6 Hy-Vee Bakery multigrain ciabatta rolls, split
    1 lbs. sliced deli sundried tomato turkey
    6 slice(s) Hy-Vee Muenster cheese
    2 medium tomatoes, sliced
    1 small seedless cucumber, thinly sliced
    1 ½ c. alfalfa sprouts
    Lettuce leaves, optional

    Directions

    1. For avocado aioli, place avocado, mayonnaise, lime juice, garlic, chile, cilantro, salt and black pepper in a food processor or blender. Cover and process until smooth. Spread cut sides of rolls with aioli.
    2. Fill rolls with turkey, cheese, tomato and cucumber slices and alfalfa sprouts. If desired, line rolls with lettuce leaves.
    3. *Note: Chile peppers contain volatile oils that can burn skin and eyes. When working with chile peppers, wear hand protection.
