Summertime Sub Sandwich Kabobs
Servings and Ingredients
|4 (10-inch long) Hy-Vee bamboo skewers|
|1 slice Hy-Vee cooked salami, cut into fourths|
|2 Hy-Vee Kosher baby dill pickles, halved crosswise|
|4 Hy-Vee Colby Jack cheese cubes|
|1 slice(s) Di Lusso sliced smoked turkey, rolled and cut into fourths|
|4 grape tomatoes|
|4 That's Smart large pitted ripe olives|
|1 tbsp. Hy-Vee unsalted butter, softened|
|1 tsp. dried dill weed|
|4 Hy-Vee hot dog buns|
- Thread each skewer with salami piece, dill pickle half, cheese cube, turkey segment, tomato and olive. Place in re-closeable plastic bag and refrigerate.
- Combine softened butter with 1 teaspoon dill weed. Spread 1 teaspoon butter mixture onto each bun. Place buns into another re-closeable bag.
- When ready to serve, remove contents of bags and place 1 skewer on each bun. Press down on the bun to slide out skewer.
