1 lbs. Hy-Vee 80% lean ground beef
1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
1 c. Hy-Vee no-salt-added beef broth
2 cube(s) Hy-Vee beef bullion
Hy-Vee salt, to taste
Hy-Vee ground black pepper, to taste
4 Hy-Vee Bakery hamburger buns

  • Wooden spoon

Directions

  1. Heat large skillet to medium-high heat. Brown beef in skillet, breaking up large pieces, until no longer pink (165 degrees). 

  2. Add onion and sauté 3 to 5 minutes until translucent. Stir in beef broth and bullion. Reduce heat to medium-low and continue cooking until most of the liquid is evaporated. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve on hamburger buns.
