    ¼ c. Hy-Vee unsalted butter
    1 c. yellow onion, diced
    1 c. celery, chopped
    ¾ c. red onion, chopped
    1 lbs. spicy pork sausage, cooked and crumbled
    ¼ tsp. Hy-Vee crushed red pepper flakes
    1 (12 oz) bag Pepperidge Farm herb seasoned stuffing
    2 to 2 1/2 c. Hy-Vee chicken broth
    fresh parsley, chopped, optional

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
    2. Melt butter in a large saucepan. Stir in yellow onion, celery and red onion and cook until softened. Stir in cooked sausage and crushed red pepper flakes.

    3. In large bowl, combine stuffing and 2 cups broth. Stir in sausage mixture. If mixture is too dry, add in another 1/2 cup broth. Transfer to a baking dish.

    4. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven, stir and bake for another 10 minutes. Top with chopped parsley, if desired.
