    Servings and Ingredients

    Ingredients
    Serves 6
    QuantityIngredientAdd
    ½ c. Hy-Vee honey
    ½ c. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee cider vinegar
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee Worcestershire sauce
    3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp. chili or chipotle chili powder
    ½ tsp. ground ginger
    2 Hy-Vee bay leaves
6 (5 oz each) lean boneless pork chops

    Directions

    1. To make marinade, heat honey, brown sugar, cider vinegar and Worcestershire sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat. Stir in garlic, chili powder, ginger and bay leaves. Cool to room temperature.
    2. Combine marinade and pork chops in a resealable plastic bag, set in a baking dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours up to 24 hours. Turn occasionally while marinating.
    3. Heat grill to medium heat. Remove pork chops from marinade; discard marinade. Grill pork chops 8 to 10 minutes, turning frequently to avoid burning, until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees. Let rest about 5 minutes before serving.
