    ¼ lbs. Hy-Vee bacon, diced
    ½ c. chopped onion
    1 (14.5 oz) can Hy-Vee diced tomatoes, undrained
    1 (8 oz) can Hy-Vee tomato sauce
    ½ c. Hy-Vee chicken broth
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee dried basil leaves
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee salt
    ¼ tsp. Hy-Vee ground black pepper
    1 (12 oz) package Hy-Vee thin spaghetti, uncooked

    Directions

    1. In a large skillet, fry bacon 2 minutes. Add onion and cook until bacon and onion are lightly browned.
    2. Stir in tomatoes, chicken broth, basil, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    3. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain.
    4. Serve with tomato sauce.
