Soy Wings

2 tbsp. butter | ||
6 lbs. chicken wings* | ||
1 c. soy sauce | ||
¾ c. sugar | ||
2 tbsp. dried minced onion | ||
2 tsp. garlic salt | ||
¼ tsp. MSG, optional | ||
¼ tsp. ground ginger |
Directions
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken wings and cook until brown, turning occasionally.
- Combine soy sauce, sugar, minced onion, garlic salt, MSG and ground ginger. Pour over wings. Simmer 2 hours, stirring often.
- *If desired, substitute chicken thighs or legs for chicken wings. Good warm or cold.
