6 tbsp. olive oil, divided | ||

½ tsp. Spice Islands medium-grind black pepper | ||
1 tsp. Spice Islands lemon peel | ||
1 ½ tsp. Spice Islands crushed red pepper, divided | ||
1 lbs. boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into 1/4-inch strips | ||
1 (10 oz) pkg salad mix | ||
1 red and yellow bell pepper, seeded and cut into thin strips | ||
¾ c. slightly crushed tortilla chips | ||
2 tbsp. soy sauce | ||
1 tbsp. lemon juice |
Directions
- Combine 3 tablespoons olive oil, water, salt, black pepper, lemon peel and 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper in a zip-top bag for a marinade. Add meat, close bag and toss to coat. Marinate 10 minutes.
- Mix 2 tablespoons olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper in a small bowl for dressing; set aside.
- Remove meat from bag; discard bag and marinade.
- Grill 2 to 3 minutes per side.
- Place salad mix in a large bowl. Top with beef, peppers and dressing. Sprinkle with tortilla chips.
