    2 (10.5-oz. each) cans Hy-Vee French onion condensed soup
    1 (2 to 3 lbs.) pkg. Hy-Vee beef chuck roast, cut into cubes
    8 Hy-Vee Bakery hoagie buns, split
    8 slice(s) Hy-Vee extra-thin Swiss cheese

    Directions

    1. Add water and French onion soup to a 4-quart slow cooker; whisk to combine. Add chuck roast cubes to slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or on HIGH for 4 hours. Remove beef cubes from slow cooker and shred into large pieces; reserve juices in slow cooker.

    2. Preheat oven to broil on HIGH. Cut hoagie buns in half lengthwise. Add shredded meat and cheese to hoagie bottom. Place both halves of bread on a large baking sheet. Broil 1 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Top sandwiches with toasted hoagie tops. Serve with reserved juices from slow cooker.
