    Who needs little smokies when you can have brat bites! Make this easy recipe with Lillie’s Q Smoky Memphis-style barbecue sauce and serve with yellow mustard for dipping.

    10 Hy-Vee original bratwursts, or beer bratwursts
    1 (21-oz.) bottle Lillie's Q Memphis-style sweet barbecue sauce
    ½ c. Hy-Vee ketchup
    1 tbsp. garlic, minced
    ¾ tsp. Hy-Vee salt
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee ground black pepper
    Green onion, sliced, for garnish
    Hy-Vee yellow mustard, for serving

    • Nonstick spray
    • Meat thermometer
    • 6-quart slow cooker

    Directions

    1. Spray a large skillet with nonstick spray. Cook brats over medium heat until lightly browned and cooked through (165 degrees). 

    2. Bias-slice brats; transfer to a 6-quart slow cooker. Stir in barbecue sauce, ketchup, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 6 to 8 hours, stirring occasionally. 

    3. To serve, reduce heat to keep warm. Garnish with sliced green onions, if desired. Serve with yellow mustard for dipping.
