Slow-Cooker Apple Crisp
Servings and Ingredients
|6 medium apples, peeled, cored and sliced into eighths|
|1/4 to 1/2 c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar|
|½ c. Hy-Vee plain bread crumbs|
|½ c. uncooked Hy-Vee quick oats|
|2 tsp. apple pie spice|
|¾ c. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar|
|½ c. Hy-Vee margarine, melted|
|¼ c. Hy-Vee chopped walnuts|
- Spray inside of slow cooker with cooking spray. Stir together apples and granulated sugar. Pour into slow cooker.
- Stir together bread crumbs, oats, spice, brown sugar, margarine and walnuts. Spoon mixture evenly over apples.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours or on HIGH for 2 hours or until done.
