    1 Hy-Vee large egg, beaten
    ¼ c. Hy-Vee plain bread crumbs
    1 tbsp. plus 1 tsp That's Smart chopped onion, divided
    ¼ tsp. Hy-Vee dried oregano
    1 lbs. lean ground beef, uncooked
    1 tbsp. Hy-Vee vegetable oil
    ½ c. chopped green bell pepper
    1 (15.5 oz) can Hy-Vee sloppy joe sauce

    Directions

    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. In a large bowl, combine egg, bread crumbs, 1 teaspoon dried onion and oregano. Add the ground beef and mix well. Shape into 30 meatballs. Arrange in a single layer in a 9-by-13-inch baking pan. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until ground beef is no longer pink.
    3. Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add bell pepper and 1 tablespoon dried onion. Cook until vegetables are tender. Stir in sloppy joe sauce. Simmer, uncovered for 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
    4. Add cooked meatballs to sloppy joe sauce, stir gently to coat.
    5. Serve immediately.
