Transfer eggnog mixture to a 2½-qt. pitcher. Stir in remaining 3 cups milk until combined. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or until cold.
To serve, stir eggnog mixture well. For each serving, stir together ½ cup eggnog mixture and ½ cup remaining milk in each in an 8-oz. mug or glass. Garnish with whipped topping and additional nutmeg, if desired.
