    Servings and Ingredients

    Ingredients
    Serves 4
    QuantityIngredientAdd
    ½ c. garlic ginger stir-fry sauce
½ lbs. beef sirloin, cut into very thin strips
2 tsp. Hy-Vee canola oil, divided
½ lbs. fresh green beans, cut into 1-inch pieces (about 2 c.)
    2 c. quartered-lengthwise baby carrots
    1 tsp. sesame seeds
    3 c. hot cooked Hy-Vee brown rice

    Directions

    1. Combine stir-fry sauce and sirloin strips in a resealable plastic bag. Place in a bowl and refrigerate for up to 1 hour.
    2. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and marinade to skillet and stir-fry until browned. Remove and keep warm.
    3. Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining teaspoon oil to the skillet. Add beans and carrots. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes or until crisp-tender.
    4. Return the beef to the skillet and stir in sesame seeds. Cook 1 to 2 minutes or until beef is heated through.
    5. Serve with brown rice.
