Simple Summer Trifle

2 medium bananas, sliced | ||
¼ c. Hy-Vee orange juice | ||
1 (9-inch) prebaked angel food cake, cut into bite-size pieces | ||
2 c. quartered strawberries, divided | ||
2 c. blueberries, divided | ||
2 c. Thank You vanilla pudding, divided | ||
1 (8 oz) container Hy-Vee frozen light whipped topping, thawed | ||
¼ c. bing cherry halves |
Directions
- In a small bowl, stir together bananas and orange juice. Set aside for 5 minutes. Drain.
- In a large glass bowl or trifle dish, layer 1/2 cake, 1 cup strawberries, 1 cup blueberries and 1/2 banana slices. Top with 1 cup pudding. Repeat layers.
- Top bananas with whipped topping and cherry halves. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
