    1 lbs. 80%-lean ground beef
    1 tbsp. Hy-Vee steak grill seasoning
    2 slice(s) Hy-Vee American cheese, quartered, divided
    4 Hy-Vee whole wheat hamburger buns
    Hy-Vee ketchup and Hy-Vee mustard, optional
    Lettuce leaves, tomato slices and onion slices, optional

    Directions

    1. Combine ground beef and grill seasoning. Form into four 1/2-inch-thick patties.
    2. Place 2 quarters of cheese in center of each patty. Wrap beef around cheese to enclose, sealing seams well. Form into patties. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
    3. Grill, uncovered, over medium-hot coals for 7 to 9 minutes on each side or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.
    4. Serve on buns with ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato and onions, if desired.
